Exercise medicine for lung cancer program.

The program will be delivered nationwide via Chronic Care Australia’s Virtual Care Clinic – a supportive, online space where exercise medicine programs and allied health services are created for people living with chronic conditions. Best of all, this award-winning clinic can be accessed from the comfort and safety of your own home. The program aims to:

·  Help participants reduce fatigue and breathlessness, increase lean muscle mass and reduce abdominal and joint pain.

·  Alleviate the symptoms and side effects of lung cancer and its treatments.

·  Determine whether patients on any anti cancer treatment for NSCLC improve their overall quality of life.

·  Deliver world-class, online health care to people with NSCLC, who may be feeling isolated due to the constraints COVID-19 has placed on their lifestyle.
