Real-World Pilot Opportunity
Chronic Care Australia (CCA) is seeking 50 participants for a 12-week pilot program that will gather real world evidence for a best-practice Exercise Medicine, education, treatment and management approach for Australians living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).
The pilot program will consider short (12 week) and long term (12 months) health and quality of life benefits.The Stellar POTS Exercise Medicine Pilot Program has been developed in conjunction with Stellar Cardiology.
The expert multidisciplinary team includes:
✚ Specialist Cardiologist Dr Richard Alcock from Stellar Cardiology.
✚ Accredited Exercise Physiologists, clinical lead Katie Stewart with William Maziotis & Lachlan Poulter from CCA.
Inclusion Criteria:
1. Formal POTS diagnosis by a General Practitioner.
2. Aged 16+.
Exclusion Criteria:
1. ME/CFS diagnosis.
2. Chronic generalised pain.
3. 6-months pre or post-op for any condition/procedure.
4. Does not understand English (due to requirements of questionnaires & education sessions).
Recruitment & Onboarding: 29 September – 10 November, 2025.
Program Start Dates:
Program A: 17 November, 2025.
Program B: 5 January 2026.
